Copyrights and Libraries

This paper will deal with the international framework as the basis for copyright protection. We will try to explain the way to treat works protected by copyrights. But, in all of this, what is the position of libraries? How do the libraries protect the authors' rights, simultaneously with the rights of the user to free access to information? What may be copied in the libraries, how and under what conditions? The exception form the copyrights applied in libraries has become important in distant 1956, when English parliament revised the British law on copyrights and made public the first exception exclusively for libraries.
