Education for school librarians at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Sombor

Abstract: Faculty of Pedagogy in Sombor started to educate school librarians from the academic year 2005/6, as the first and only institution of that profile in the Republic of Serbia. The aim of the three years program is to educate experts on the basis of the acquired knowledge from the fields of librarianship, pedagogy, and psychology. Trained like professionals they should independently perform quality work in school libraries.
