Copyright Protection

Today, more and more we see the certains in the field of copyright protection and the general right to freedom of information, which is a current and very important topic of contemporary librarianship. To librarians perform their job professionally and in accordance with the copyright law, it is necessary to explore the issues of respect and protect of copyright. Through their representatives in international organizations, such as eIFL, IFLA and LIBER, Serbian librarians are up to date with general events, and are included in the fight for consumer rights and copyright protection. It is an ongoing issue to make these problems closer to as many people in Serbia with the help of education for librarians and courses for PhD candidates.
